Dems Robbed

Well if someone stole stuff from me I might be upset...considering what it is they stole, of course. LV Dem and some other liberals are upset about the robbery of a local Democratic Club. The stolen goods? Read the excerpt from LV below:

Democrats may have cleaned Republicans' clocks in last week's election. But one group of Bethlehem Democrats had its clock — and a whole lot of booze and cigarettes — stolen days after the Nov. 7 election.According to Bethlehem police, thieves ransacked the Edgeboro Democratic Club, 1427 Marvine St., after kicking a hole in a side door between 4 p.m. Thursday and 6 p.m. Monday. Once inside, police said, they stole a round beer clock, 12 to 14 whiskey bottles, two cases of assorted beer, two speakers, a stereo, a touch-screen video game, 11/2 kegs of beer, a case of malt liquor and 500 packs of cigarettes.

Just what else would you expect the local Dems to have? Hookers?

Aesthetic Politics

Now that we've found control what are we gone do with it? Fight - of course!

Nancy the Shrill endorses Murtha after claiming she'd stay neutral and Murtha loses after claiming to "have the votes." Comical. The only thing is I'm surprised Murtha didn't demand a recount. But I digress, I'm actually upset about this loss. Yes, I was supportive of Murtha.

You see, the Murtha's of the party SHOULD be in control for they represent the core values of the party (or in his case - the House of Horrors). Let the Dems stand up in all their liberal glory and represent their true selves instead of hiding behind the curtains. Nope, in true Dem fashion they vote in a man who has experience but is not as outspoken nor has been half as condemning as Murtha. Thus, the party looks new.

The Democrats are the masked party. You know who it is underneath - why the mask? Steny Hoyer is a more refined looking and speaking Dem than is Murtha and that is it. Murtha definitely did more for their party in his criticisms of Bush but that's not the look their going for.

Ironically, Nancy claimed she would accomplish many a liberal socialist agenda objectives when in office. Her first recomomendation to the party was a failure.
