The Most Important Day of Your Life

Voting is not just an American right and priviledge, it is also your responsibility. I beleive we are sending school aged children the wrong idea about voting by keeping them in school on election day. This day is much more important than any other they receive off ven if they do not vote. This shows them the importance and engenders a sense of importance. They get off MLK day, Colombus Day, why not election day?

The problem with the voting public is no one turns out. More people watch Dance with the Stars. Is that the kind of message we want to send them?

FYI: Eddie Day Pashinski (D) one exercised his "power" to declare an high school election that I won in favor of my opponent (who was a 'fav' of his and sang in his chorus) because he didn't think I would do an appropriate job. I'm practically done with anesthesia school at the moment...

These are the messages we send kids. Voting is not important and sometimes...it actually IS useless.

(It is unknown by exactly how much I dominated the election. The end result, however, mysteriously ended with my having lost by 1 according to his count after I protested. The ballots were not able to be viewed by anyone else.)
