The Honeymoon is Over

Senator Hillary appeared tonight on Charles Gibson. It was apparent that her make-up and beauty staff were hard at work prior to her appearence as she actually looked presentable. She made attacking the administration and the funding of Iraq (which she voted to authorize) short order. She dodged twice the question as to wether or not she felt Obama was a qualified candidate, which surprisingly Gibson called her on. She dodged a second time to follow. Why would the great female force bit her tongue? Because she can have her cronies attack him privatly instead of her doing it publically and openening herself to accusations. Don't you think these 2 minority candidates make for an interesting debate among liberals?

And she claims she never really knew that she was going to run for President which reminded me very much of someone's, "not having sexual relations with that woman [Ms. Lewinski]." Her candidacy which began in the late 80's/early 90's.

Senator Clinton was also asked if she'd be [politically] where she is today if it weren't for her husband (the most recently impeached President). She dodged this one also as she and everyone in the country knows that without debate.

For Barrack Hussein Obama the honeymoon is over. The only attention he will be getting now will be second rate to that of Hillary. And John Edwards won't be going anywhere unless he files a lawsuit against either of them for killing his candidacy.

Message in a Bottle (A Love Note for Democrats)

The Iraq war is by far the hottest political topic in the liberals attack arsenal. The fact that popular opinion has been thus far unfavorable has been animating the media and the usual suspects to continue their opposition. The liberal media has surely been the motivator of this thinking as they have made the war the pivotal issue in the outcome of the recent elections. Rahm Emanuel, like many of the other usuals, has also bought into this notion. In recently uncovered documents he urges many Democrats to get on board the Iraq is sinking ship!

I don't think their tactical leader could be more wrong.

In a post Clinton era the Democrats have to realize that hard lining themselves on positions against America are very unpopular and not the way to court new and indecisive voters. They must pay special attention to their party as it has lost its MVP (like a post Jordan Chicago Bulls). This is why Hillary is the 2008 de facto liberal candidate. She's a relic of their most powerful and most influential politician. But she too has taken the bait. As an original proponent of the war she has had to jump on board the life boats and also hope the ship sinks.

I submit to you that the Hillary candidacy, the pacifism, the victories in '06, and the loss in '08 are all because of Bill Clinton. That's right, the left over Clinton crumbs are just about gone and helped pave the way for some but will be proven ineffective in '08.

Despite the fact that the media claims the mid term elections were votes for change and as a strike against the Hillary machine who thinks she really is the woman everyone wants leading they are nothing more than Democrat wet dreams. She is NOTHING without Bill, and the Democrats at large, are also nothing without him.

For the liberals, they must continue to hope desperately for failure in Iraq because of the side they have chosen. If the ship does not sink, Hillary will be disappointed. And in the next election of House and Senate, the Democrats will be cast away on their own political island.

Fitzesque

I took off a week. Not from living, just from writing. I had to get a jumpstart on my diet which I started just after the first of the year. Thus far - 12 pounds baby!

Anyways, I have to go to clinical in Trenton today (hey, could be Camden) and if when I get back we'll get right back to business.
